Research Focus Avia Group promotes innovation through research on group-centered activities. Of current interest are Team Based Learning, Student Based Research Networks, and Applied Research Networks. This abstract, vague, and often nebulous mission is headed by Colin Drummond. Colin's expertise is based on over 25 years of hands-on industrial experience complemented by on graduate engineering research work and graduate business school training.
		Initiatives and projects are managed through a combination of individual and team efforts. Some colleagues donate their time, others enjoy informal partnerships, and others work through retainers. Relationships are as flexible and adaptive as project need. Some projects - such as the SBRN initiative - involve several educational institutions and reflect a unique mix of students, administrators, and faculty!
